Jeannie Fae Barnes

Jeannie “Jean” Fae Barnes was born to J.W. Barnes and Onella Waits Barnes on June 24, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas and went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2026.

Jean worked for Gearhart Owens, then Shamrock Convenient Store until she retired. She graduated Lake Worth Highschool and was a lifetime member of the VFW - Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars of Azle and loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed visiting casinos.

Her cousins fondly called her “Aunt Jean,” so remember Jean with laughter and tears, for both honor the life she lived.

Jean will be cremated and the family will have a celebration of her life at a future date.
