Joe Louis Anderson, age 61, of Fort Worth, Texas, was born on April 14, 1965, to Erma Davis and Thomas Davis. He departed this life surrounded by the love of family and friends, leaving behind a legacy defined by kindness, integrity, hard work, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.

Joe was known for his warm and welcoming nature and was truly a man who never met a stranger. His genuine compassion, friendly spirit, and ability to make others feel valued and appreciated left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He carried himself with dignity and humility, touching countless lives through his generosity and sincere concern for others. A dedicated and hardworking professional, Joe faithfully served at Texas Christian University for more than 20 years.

Throughout his tenure, he earned the respect, admiration, and friendship of colleagues and members of the university community through his commitment, dependability, and exemplary work ethic.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, Desmond Jackson (Celeste Jackson), Teresa Anderson (Clyde Haley Sr), Johnny Davis and Roderick Davis, and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is also survived by his beloved nieces, Alesia Anderson and Fiera Anderson, whose loving care, devotion, and support brought him comfort throughout his later years.

He is further remembered by his cherished nephews and his loving aunts, Sabrina Piper and Sonia Piper.

Joe’s life was a testament to perseverance, compassion, and service. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the impact of his life will continue to be felt by all who knew and loved him. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration, and his legacy will endure in the hearts of those whose lives he so profoundly touched. “To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die.”
